New production facilities are built; the company relocates to Eichendorffplatz – still its headquarters today

The collection is expanded to include dresses in addition to the previous focuses on coats and suits

The company is renamed Bekleidungswerk Strehle KG, Nördlingen/Bavaria

The company Wohlfahrt & Co is founded by the Strehle family in Nördlingen.
Its operations involve making woven fabrics up into shorts, traditional jackets and coats.
Women's coats and suits are added.
Operations are gradually focused on womenswear.
